Macau’s Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng says that his government is in talks with authorities in neighbouring Guangdong province on ways to improve mobility, such as mutual recognition of vaccination certificates.
Although visitation to Macau has been improving, the recovery has been slow due to the lack of access to individual visit scheme visas via e-kiosks and Covid testing regimes. Guangdong is Macau’s largest source market.
