Macau gaming operator Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) said Wednesday it will grant a discretionary bonus equivalent to one month’s salary to most of its workforce, citing employees’ contributions during the past year.
The payout, scheduled for February 9th, will cover staff at senior manager grade and below, representing about 97 percent of the company’s team members. The bonus includes base salary and guaranteed tips where applicable.
The SAR’s six gaming operators usually announce a discretionary end of the year bonus, with Galaxy the first to announce one so far.
GEG said the move reflects its “World Class, Asian Heart” service philosophy and comes after a year in which the operator staged more than 1,000 entertainment, sports, cultural and MICE events. The company has sought to align with Macau’s “1+4” diversification strategy and bolster the city’s role as a “World Center of Tourism and Leisure.”
The casino group added it continues to invest in career development, offering training programs to enhance staff competitiveness.
Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) reported strong 2025 results, with Q3 showing a 14 percent year-on-year net revenue increase to HKD12.2 billion ($1.5 billion) and adjusted EBITDA up 14 percent to HKD3.3 billion ($423.6 million).
The company maintained a robust balance sheet, some HKD36.8 billion ($4.7 billion) cash and continued investing in Phase 4 development, targeting completion in 2027, while also hosting major entertainment events.
