Orion Art: Looking forward to reconnecting

Orion Art EGMs

Orion Art has been a staple in the Macau and Asia gaming industry for well over 15 years, and we have watched Macau grow and its city skyline transform into the jewel it has become today.

We completed our first project in 2006, installing a complete sign package into the brand-new Wynn Resort, and the special individuality of Macau has always been our primary focus.  And in the 15 years since, our signs have become a prominent fixture in nearly all the casinos across Macau and the region.

The 2020 pandemic has shown how quickly and completely this evolution can change.

Like every company and small business in the industry, we have been deeply affected by the current pandemic – something that nobody was truly prepared for. We have had to make some impacting changes to our company and business model, from downsizing to restructuring.  Gone are the frequent trips from Sydney to Macau, to meet and talk with our customers on a personal, one-on-one basis.  Now meetings are short video calls and lengthy emails. But most damaging was the loss of some of our friends and mentors in 2020.

We do, however, look to a brighter future. Projects slated for 2020 are slowly starting to come back on-line this year, and while expectations are for a slow recovery beginning in 2021, we are eager to reconnect with our customers and friends in Macau and across the rest of Asia as soon as possible.

We think everyone expects the industry to be a whole new entity when all doors are thrown open, and we look forward to the challenges and successes this change may bring.
