Central Bank issues warning to companies dealing with crypto

China’s Central Bank has issued a warning to companies on Tuesday against assisting cryptocurrency-related businesses after shutting down a software company in Beijing for providing software services for cryptocurrency transactions.

The move is part of the country’s widened crackdown on the cryptocurrency industry, which it has condemned for its potential use for money laundering and illegal activity, as well as its environmental impact.
