AGB Co-Founder Rosalind Wade steps down from MD role

Asia Gaming Brief co-founder, Rosalind Wade, is transitioning from her managing director role into a consulting capacity, as the company restructures its products and services to better meet the needs of the industry.

“The global situation has caused a rethink on both a corporate and personal level. AGB is pivoting towards the provision of more intelligence-based services, such as in-depth, data-driven content and unique experience-based events. At the same time, I have decided that I need to relocate to Europe for family reasons,” Rosalind Wade said.

Further details about AGB’s new direction will be announced in the coming weeks.

Launched in July 2012, with co-founder Luis Pereira, Asia Gaming Brief has grown into one of the most respected and authoritative sources of content and intelligence in the Asian gaming industry. It has also delivered many memorable and valuable events, for which Rosalind was a significant instigator.

Some of the highlights during her tenure as managing director include, the Asian Gaming Networking Socials, as well as ground-breaking industry conferences such as the East Meets West Regulators Summit, the ASEAN Gaming Summit in Manila, and the Mekong Gaming Summit in Phnom Penh.

“Luis and I are extremely proud of the company we have built. This is the beginning of a new era for me and for AGB, and I have no doubt that the company will continue to go from strength to strength,” said Wade

Going forward, and after eight years serving as managing director, Rosalind will continue to support AGB on select special projects, while also remaining a main shareholder of the company.

“We believe that the company is in a strong and stable enough position for Rosalind to be able to move away from daily operations while helping to enhance the overall unique proposition of the company,” said Luis. “We have an amazing team of people who are committed to delivering a new wave of exciting projects and to improving the service excellence that everyone has come to expect of AGB.”
