Paradise Co., which operates foreigner-only casinos in South Korea, said sales gained almost 34 percent in March, led by table games.
The company said in a filing to the Korean Stock Exchange that its casino revenue for the month was KRW52.2 billion ($49 million). Table games revenue rose 35 percent to KRW48.7 billion, while slot machine revenue was up 18.9 percent to KRW3.4 billion.
Table game drop was up 28.3 percent from the prior year at KRW502.8 billion.
The company operates the Walker Hill casino, Jeju Grand, Busan Casino and the country’s only true IR the Incheon Paradise City. It gives no commentary as to the revenue split in its monthly filings.
In the three months through to March, casino revenue gained 19.9 percent to KRW52.19 billion.
