Golden Week visitation rises 13 percent in 2019

The Macau Government Tourism Office has reported a total of 906,078 visitors in the first six days of Golden Week, rising 13 percent year-on-year. 

Visitation has continued to be led by mainland Chinese visitors, making up for 82.2 percent of all visitors during the week, and rising 10.7 percent to 744,637 visitors. 

According to data from the MGTO, the border gate processed the largest amount of visitors (around 60.5 percent), followed by the Cotai checkpoint, and the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau Bridge.
