The Asia Poker Tour said it has cancelled its upcoming leg in the Philippines due to the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 crisis.
The tour was scheduled to have taken place from Sept. 8 to 21st in Resorts World Manila.
Earlier this month, the APT said it was adding a Vietnam leg from next year at the Corona Resort & Casino in Phu Quoc, the only one in Vietnam where locals are allowed to gamble.
The gaming space at the resort features 1,000 electronic gaming machines and a mass floor with 30 tables. The poker room has 12 tables at present, though the hall can be set up with 50 poker tables for big tournaments.
