Bloomberry Resorts Corporation is a Philippines-based holding Company. The Company is a developer and operator of hotels, casinos and integrated tourism resorts in the Philippines through its Sureste Properties, Inc. (Sureste), Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc. (BRHI), Solaire Korea Co., Ltd. (Solaire Korea) and Golden & Luxury Co., Ltd. (G&L) subsidiaries. Its Sureste and BRHI subsidiaries develop and operate tourist facilities, including hotel-casino entertainment complexes with hotel, retail, amusement areas and themed development components. Its Solaire is a luxury hotel and gaming resort. Its Sureste and BRHI subsidiaries are engaged in the commercial operations, including gaming area and initial non-gaming amenities, such as Solaire’s hotel, food and beverage outlets. Its Sky Tower features over two restaurants, the Waterside Restobar and Oasis Garden Cafe. Its G&L operates a hotel and casino property in Jeju, Korea under the T.H.E Hotel and LVegas Casino brand names.

Operators in Entertainment City had already begun to complain about the impact of rising competition on their margins even prior to the Covid-19 crisis. Now, with the outlook highly uncertain due to border closures and the erosion of the VIP sector, they may have to contend with three new developments pressing ahead.
Bloomberry Resorts said its Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels unit signed, with a syndicate of banks, an amendment to the P73.5 billion ($1.5 billion) Omnibus Loan and Security Agreement for an additional facility in the principal amount of P20 billion. The facility was oversubscribed.
While the green shoots of recovery are still far from becoming a forest, the raft of earnings reports from Asia’s operators on Tuesday all gave grounds for optimism that recovery is taking root.
Bloomberry Resorts, whose Solaire Resort & Casinos is only operating on a dry run basis for long-term hotel guests and select invitees, said it was close to EBITDA breakeven in the quarter, even as revenue fell 76 percent from the prior year.
THE Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has clarified that so far only Solaire Resort & Casino's application to accept bets online has been approved, while the requests by Okada Manila and City of Dreams are still under study.
