Pachinko operator Okura Holdings reported a significant increase in profit before income tax, rising approximately JPY929 million ($6.1 million) in the second half of 2023, a 569.9 percent bump from the same period in the previous year.

Hong Kong-listed Okura Holdings has announced that its Pachinko Hall, K’s Plaza Ohato Hall, located in Nagasaki City, will cease operations with effect from January 14, 2024.

Pachinko operator Okura Holdings reported 13 percent year-on-year revenue jump in the first half of this year, reporting some revenue increased by approximately JPY6,284 million ($42 million) for the period.
