The Philippines' leading gaming operator, Bloomberry Resorts Corp., has announced plans to unveil its Solaire Resort North casino complex by May 25th.

People, product and profit. That's the order that Bloomberry Resorts Corp's COO says the company is focusing on, with excellence in the first driving a positive chain reaction.

The President and Chief Operating Officer of Bloomberry Resorts, Thomas Arasi, says that the focus on its people and its product naturally lead to profitability. The group aims to create a “Filipino talent pool that is second to none globally”, including additional training to prepare for the opening of its latest property – Solaire Resort North – in May. Bloomberry’s casino project, Solaire North, in Quezon City is set to open late in May of this year, updates the group’s CEO and Chairman, which is about a two-month pushback from the previously scheduled opening in March of this year.

Philippine gaming operator Bloomberry Resorts has reported consolidated net income of PHP9.5 billion ($170 million) for 2023, an 85 percent increase from PHP5.1 billion ($91 million) in 2022.

Analysts at Maybank are predicting that 2024 will be a strong year for Bloomberry Resorts, with profit expected to rise by nearly a quarter. However, forecasts have been reduced due to a drop in gross gaming revenue, largely due to decreases in VIP and junket revenue, even though slots performed strongly.

Bloomberry Resorts Corp. has reported robust results in the first three quarters of the year, as its net income surged 106 percent from PHP4 billion ($71 million) to PHP8.3 billion ($148 million).
