Worker injured on Grand Lisboa Palace site

A construction worker at the site of the Grand Lisboa Palace was sent to hospital on Monday for a seriously bleeding wrist, local media reports.

The latest incident marks the 5th incident at the site, which has seen two fires and two fatal accidents to date.

Executive director Angela Leong On Kei previously said there may be a delay for the opening of Grand Lisboa Palace as a result of the fire which took place in September.

Leong also noted that the company may consider a staged opening of the new property if construction falls behind schedule.
