Pac On Ferry operational next month

Macau’s new Pac On Ferry Terminal held its inauguration on Thursday, and is set to begin operations at the start of June, Macau TDM reports.

The MOP 3.8 billion (US$474 million) facility was inaugurated by Chief Executive Chui Sai On and Secretary for Transport and Public Works Raimundo do Rosario on Thursday morning.

The compound once fully operational, will reportedly house 127 immigration lanes, 3 multipurpose berths and 16 ferry berths.

The opening of the terminal has been seen by analysts as having a positive impact on the mass market sector, with the terminal set to facilitate nearly 400,000 visits per day in the future.
