Macau expecting increase in visitation over summer

The number of visitors coming through the Macau International Airport is expected to increase 8 percent over the summer holidays, according to Macau International Airport director of marketing Eric Fong.

Speaking to Macau Business, Fong noted that July visitor numbers grew 9 percent, while the first week of August saw a 10 percent year-on-year increase in visitors.

There are currently an average of 160 flights arriving and departing the Macau airport per day, said Fong.
