Landing chairman receives honors at investment award ceremony

Dr. Yang Zhihui, chairman and executive director of Landing International Development Ltd, on Tuesday was accredited the "Presidential Commendation" at an award ceremony organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy.

The Korean Investment Award Ceremony is an annual event among the Korean business community. Its aim is to recognize members of foreign-invested companies, related organizations and government agencies that have successfully introduced capital inflow and contributed to the economy and society of South Korea.

Landing International, the developer and operator of Jeju Shinhwa World, has invested approximately US$1.5 billion of foreign direct investment into South Korea since 2013. Jeju Shinhwa World is working at full steam to prepare opening for business of its phase one at the end of this year.

Dr. Yang commented, "I am honored to have been accredited the 'Presidential Commendation' at the Korean Investment Award Ceremony. Dr. Yang has been engaging in real estate development business in Anhui Province, China since 2006.

With profound industry experience and unique investment insights, Dr. Yang has been a respected leader in the industry and was recognized as an "Excellent Entrepreneur in China's Real Estate Industry" and one of the "Top 10 Leaders in China's Real Estate Industry 2009", demonstrating wide recognition of his leadership and decision-making capabilities.

Under Dr. Yang's leadership, Landing International has extended its footprint from China to overseas markets since 2013. The company is currently seeking business opportunities in foreign countries including South Korea and Philippines.
