Crown appoints two new non-exec directors

Australian casino operator Crown Resorts has announced the appointment of two new non-executive directors, Jane Halton and Toni Korsanos to the Crown board.

Jane Halton is a former Secretary of the Australian Department of Finance and is a current Director of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited and Clayton Utz.

Toni Korsanos is the current chief financial officer and company secretary of Aristocrat Leisure Ltd, a global company which she has held senior executive positions for over 10 years. Mrs Korsanos is expected to join the Crown board once she steps down from her role in March 2018 and her existing commitments at Aristocrat cease.

Both appointments are also dependent on all necessary regulatory approvals.

Crown’s executive chairman, Mr John Alexander said “We are delighted that both Jane and Toni have agreed to join the Crown board. The addition of Jane and Toni will enhance the expertise and diversity of the Crown Board. Jane will bring extensive experience in finance, risk management, information technology, human resources and public policy. Toni has extensive experience in the gaming industry and will also bring experience in the areas of technology, finance, strategy, risk management and financial and regulatory compliance.”
