Bernstein raises June GGR forecast

Month-to-date GGR in Macau was higher than expected despite the impact of Tropical Storm Merbok last week, said Bernstein in a note on Monday.

According to the brokerage, month-to-date GGR (June 1-18) was MOP13 billion, bringing the month-to-date ADR to MOP722 million, a 36 percent over the same period in 2016.

VIP hold was high in the last week, while mass was down marginally month-on-month.

Bernstein said it estimates June GGR to hit MOP 20.7 to 20.9 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 30 to 32 percent.
